	The total imports of drugs and pharmaceuticals of major markets in Asia-Pacific Region and our exports to those countries are: Australia (114.08), Cambodia (18.7), Fiji (1.80), Indonesia (60.41), Laos (1.22), Malaysia (62.80), Mongolia (2.17), Myanmar (61.84), New Zealand (31.48), Philippines (83.35), Thailand (106.48), Vietnam (144.49). These figures reveal the potential available in those markets. (figures in brackets are total imports India’s pharma exports to those countries in mn US$ in 2011)

	Keeping in view the opportunities available for Indian Pharma to improve its export performance, Council is inviting about 60 buyers from the above countries. There is good response from overseas delegates over 30 Companies / FDA officials have confirmed their participation. See the LIST here

	There will be Technical presentations by where FDA / Drug Regulatory officials of various Asia Pacific countries drug regulatory systems in their respective countries.
