Sub:   Business Delegation to Romania, Czech Republic and Slovenia during 7th March – 17th March 2010.  (Date extended to 18th Feb 2010)

We have pleasure in informing you that PHARMEXCIL proposes to mount a Business Delegation to Romania, Czech Republic and Slovenia (subject to confirmation from our Missions) in these countries.

The delegation is proposed to these countries as an approved activity under the MDA activity of the Council.

The export figures of these 3(three) countries from India for the last three years are given below for your kind information and to assess the export potential in these countries.

In view of the above, we invite applications from our members to participate in this delegation.  

The BSMs/Delegation visits will be organized in select locations in Romania, Czech Republic and Slovenia.

Following are the points which may please be noted:

·         Cost towards Airfare would be around Rs.60,000/- to Rs.70,000/- subject to the class of seat available in economy class at the time of booking of tickets and hotel charges would be around USD100 to USD 150 per day per person on twin sharing basis.
·         Members may please note that since all the 3(three) countries are under General Areas. Therefore all members participating in this delegation would not be eligible for MDA benefits as per the MDA Guidelines.
·          Interested members may send their Company Profile along with the name of the delegates & other details as per Application form enclosed.
·         Other details like venue etc will be communicated to interested members in due course.  

Members participating in this delegation may kindly note the following important information:  

Ø  BSMs will be held at Bucharest, Prague and Ljubljana as per the advice of our Embassies in each of these countries.

Ø  Accommodation will be arranged by the Council on the basis of recommendation of our Missions abroad (Hotel tariffs will be informed shortly).

The tentative programme & itinerary for the delegation would be as per the following schedule (subject to confirmation from our Missions abroad):

We now request the members to confirm their interest to participate in the event by sending the above requested information along with a non-refundable commitment/delegation fees of Rs. 25,000=00 (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only). This amount is refundable only if the event is cancelled due to unavoidable circumstances at the instance of our Missions/Council.

We request our members who have offices/agents in the subject countries to inform us, so that their services can be availed for contacting the local government agencies etc., so as to make the delegation successful.  They can also participate in the BSM arranged by Pharmexcil.
