Dear Member,

We are pleased to inform members that our council has received a communication informing that the following Senior officials from the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Govt. of India are visiting Hyderabad on 6th February 2010:

Shri Ashok Kumar, IAS, Secretary
Shri Devendra Choudhary, IAS, Joint Secretary
Shri Arun Jha, IAS Joint Secretary and

The Secretary, DOP has advised our council to arrange an interactive meeting with the Senior Govt. officials Pharma associations / CEOs of the Industry to discuss various issues of the Pharma Industry relating to exports, environment, infrastructure, Patents etc.,

Accordingly Pharmexcil is organizing an interactive meeting as per the following schedule,

Venue   : Kshetra-I, Hotel Katriya Towers, Somajiguda, Rajbhavan Road, Hyderabad
Date       : 6th February 2010 (Saturday)
Time       : 3.00 – 4.30 p.m.
Hi-tea     : 4.30 pm

Senior Govt. officials from State Drug Control Department, JDFGT, MSME, Customs & Central Excise, APIIC, ICD, PCB etc., are also being invited for the interactive meeting.

We therefore request all the CEOs/ MDs/Directors/Senior Executives of Associations/Member companies (only) to attend the meeting and present important issues/representations, if any, relating to Pharma industry for the benefit of this sector.
