Greetings from the Pharmaceutical Export Promotion Council of India (PHARMEXCIL)!!
As you would be aware, Government of Andhra Pradesh has been organising the annual international event, BioAsia for the last eight years. On the invitation of GoAP, PHARMEXCIL & the Federation of Asian Biotech Associations [FABA] together organized the eighth edition of BioAsia during February this year. The event was yet another success and witnessed participation of over 2500 delegates from 38 countries from across the globe. The event also realized 400 onsite B2B meetings and featured about 360 companies.
Considering the success of BioAsia 2011, GoAP has entrusted PHARMEXCIL & FABA with the responsibility of jointly organising BioAsia 2012, scheduled to be organized from Feb 9-11, 2012 at Hyderabad, India. The theme identified for BioAsia 2012 is “Optimizing Opportunities” with special focus on Vaccines, Contract Research, Exports, Investments and IPR. Nearly half a million visitors and about 8000 delegates expected to be in attendance this year. With this gaining popularity and ongoing demand, Pharmexcil takes this opportunity to organize exclusive International Buyer Seller Meet during the event as co-organizer as per the following;
A. Exhibition-Pharmexcil Pavilion: Pharmexcil will organize an “Pharmexcil - Indian Exporters Pavilion” at the international tradeshow of BioAsia 2012. The pavilion organized by Pharmexcil at the 2011 exhibition was a big success with about 12 companies housed in the pavilion. Members interested in marketing their products in Pharmexcil Pavilion are requested to register with Pharmexcil. Pharmexcil is pleased to inform that with the support from Department of Commerce, we are offering discounted rate for our members and the details of the costing will be informed soon.
B. International Buyer-Seller Meetings: 50 potential importers & traders are being invited by Pharmexcil from the top 10 export destinations dealing with BioPharma, Medical device, Diagnostics to participate/interact/trade with the Indian Industry. During BioAsia 2012, the reverse buyer-seller (one on one) meet between the foreign delegates and Indian delegates will be organized.
