Dear Member

Sub:   Business Delegation to Russia, Ukraine, Georgia and Armenia during 27th February – 12th March 2011.

We have pleasure in informing you that PHARMEXCIL proposes to mount a Business Delegation to CIS countries i.e. Russia, Ukraine, Georgia and Armenia (subject to confirmation from our Missions) in these countries.

The delegation is proposed to these countries as an approved activity under the MDA activity of the Council.

The export figures of these 4(four) countries from India for the last three years are given below for your kind information and to assess the export potential in these countries.

In view of the above, we invite applications from our members to participate in this delegation.

The BSMs/Delegation visits will be organized at select locations in Russia, Ukraine, Georgia and Armenia.

Following are the points, which may please be noted:

  • Cost towards Airfare would be around Rs. 90,000/- (Rupees Ninety Thousand Only) subject to the class of seat available in economy class at the time of booking of tickets and hotel charges would be around USD 100 per day per person on twin sharing basis.
  • Members whose export turnover during previous year is less than Rs.15.00 crores are eligible for MDA subject to the other guidelines of MDA scheme.  Please refer PHARMEXCIL website www.pharmexcil.com for detailed MDA guidelines. In this case, 100% economy class excursion airfare will be reimbursed, subject to a maximum of Rs.70,000/- (Rupees Seventy Thousand only) per company. Interested members may send their Company Profile along with the name of the delegate & other details as per Delegation form enclosed.
  • Other details like venue etc will be communicated to interested members in due course.


Members participating in this delegation may kindly note the following important information:

  • BSMs are proposed to be held at Moscow, Kiev, Tbilisi and Yerevan as per the advice of our Embassies in each of these countries.
  • Accommodation will be arranged by the Council on payment basis by delegates and as recommended by our Missions abroad (Hotel tariffs will be informed shortly).

We now request the members to confirm their interest to participate in the event by sending the above requested information along with a non-refundable commitment/delegation fee of Rs. 40,000/- (Rupees Forty Thousand only). This amount is refundable only if the event is cancelled due to unavoidable circumstances or postponed at the instance of our Missions/Council.
