Dear Member,
Sub: Business Delegation to Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru and Brazil during 14th August - 28th August 2010.
We have pleasure in informing you that PHARMEXCIL proposes to mount a Business Delegation to LAC countries i.e. Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru and Brazil (subject to confirmation from our Missions) in these countries.
The delegation is proposed to these countries as an approved activity under the MDA activity of the Council.
The export figures of these 4(four) countries from India for the last three years are given below for your kind information and to assess the export potential in these countries.

In view of the above, we invite applications from our members to participate in this delegation.
The BSMs/Delegation visits will be organized at select locations in Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru and Brazil.
Following are the points, which may please be noted:

Cost towards Airfare would be around Rs. 1,70,000/- subject to the class of seat available in economy class at the time of booking of tickets and hotel charges would be around USD 100 per day per person on twin sharing basis.

Members whose export turnover during previous year is less than Rs.15.00 crores are eligible for MDA subject to the other guidelines of MDA scheme. In this case, 100% economy class excursion airfare will be reimbursed, subject to a maximum of Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees one lakh only) per member. Interested members may send their Company Profile along with the name of the delegates & other details as per Application form enclosed.

Other details like venue etc will be communicated to interested members in due course.
Members participating in this delegation may kindly note the following important information:

BSMs are proposed to be held at Caracas, Guayaquil and Lima as per the advice of our Embassies in each of these countries.

A meeting with the members of the Association of Distributors & Importers of APIs is proposed to be held for the benefit of API exporters on 27th August 2010 (subject to confirmation from them).

Accommodation will be arranged by the Council on the basis of recommendation of our Missions abroad (Hotel tariffs will be informed shortly).

This amount is refundable only if the event is cancelled due to unavoidable circumstances at the instance of our Missions/Council.
